The Hachijo Royal Resort is an deserted lodge positioned in Hachijō-jima, a volcanic island positioned round 300 km away from Tokyo. This French baroque-style lodge was opened in 1963, and because of declining tourism was closed in 2006.
The lodge at present stands deserted with nature slowly overgrowing it. Polish photographer Natalia Sobańska has not too long ago traveled to this secluded location and took superb photos exhibiting the light glory of one of many greatest inns in Japan. Examine them out it the gallery beneath!
