The Winners Of 2018 Hasselblad Awards Have Been Introduced, And Their Photos Are Beautiful

The jury for The Hasselblad Masters Awards, some of the prestigious images awards which are handed out biannually, has introduced the record of winners for 2018. The 11 classes, which included artwork, panorama, and portrait images, invited professionals and images world’s newcomers to compete for the fitting to name themselves Hasselblad Grasp.

Other than the honorable title, the winners may also develop into the ambassadors of the well-known title for 2 years, get invited to take part of their tasks, obtain medium format Hasselblad cameras, and get their work printed in Hasselblad Masters guide.

“It actually struck me how progressive most of the entries have been this 12 months and the way far the entrants have been prepared to push the temporary. These have been the photographers who caught my eye – the ballsy, out-there risk-takers who make compelling photos that refuse to be ignored,” claimed one of many jury members, photographer Tom Oldham.

This 12 months the competitors acquired 31,500 entries, 175% extra than two years in the past. Scroll right down to see the beautiful photos that topped all the opposite rivals.
