My lunch is rarely cute; it’s extra of a “random mishmash of issues.” You may’t say that about Li Ming Lee’s bento-inspired lunches. This artful and devoted mother most likely spends hours upon hours making meals seem like anime and literature characters, in addition to animals. From Totoro buns to Cat marshmallows in matcha latte, it’s a variety of cuteness.
Li Ming Lee is a stay-at-home mother of two. She lives in Singapore. She began making cute bento lunches when her firstborn began going to highschool, so he wouldn’t miss her a lot. Lee began her “Bentomonsters” weblog in August 2011. This result in a speedy rise to fame, and to a guide known as “Yummy Kawaii Bento.”
